When is Nevermore going to get back together?

"I’m not saying that Nevermore will never get back together or do some sort of reunion, or a festival kind of thing in the near future, but at this given moment in time, it’s just kind of set aside. We’ll see what happens in the future."

Not sure if Jeff saw this thread but I'll take it. Article here: http://rock-nb.com/interviews/an-interview-with-jeff-loomis/. Posted on September 3, 2012.

Not gonna say anything about hate or motive ... but I've known them all (except the new guy) for a long time and I still speak with Van often enough

Jeff and Van leaving was in the pipeline for quite a bit longer than you think

Dammit guys get your shit together and write another damn album. We're not asking you to live together and take showers together, just write some more kick ass music!!!

*also please note he and Jeff BOTH say "near future" hmmmmmmm....

i've said this before and i'll say it again: you can only go so far with an instrumental shred guitar solo career. supposedly, jeff wants to record three, count 'em, three new songs with death metal-y vocals but that'll probably stagnate, since it'll still be a JL solo record. and van: he's formed/joined, like, two different, groups that he's probably thinking will never take off and add to his bank accounts (correct me if i'm wrong, but even his Pure Sweet Hell project kinda fell by the wayside). i guess they both gonna need cash soon, BUT, that's just me.

"So don't be surprised if there is a new NEVERMORE record within the next two years. But I don't know who will be in the band. All I can say is that I will be, Jim Sheppard [bass] will definitely be… I would love for Jeff Loomis to do it, but he's in ARCH ENEMY now, so I don't know if that's possible. Because we're not enemies. We don't talk much, but we're definitely not enemies. We didn't part on bad terms, so… We'll see.""

He did this interview here in Brazil, he did a tour where they played all Dead Heart and some other Nevermore songs.
The band was all Brazilian players and the drummer is a good friend of mine, I've been recording him for many projects and he's in my band now.
I got the chance to talk to WD after a show and he's a really nice guy. It seems he really wants to get back with the guys to record another Nevermore album, I just have my doubts that the drummer will be Van. But there wouldn't be such a big publicity if it wasn't with Van, let's wait and see...
