French here ! Like Brett and Djabtrash who came from the same city (Montpellier in the south of the country), I originally come from the North-East of the country (Nancy) but live in Suresnes (suburbs of Paris) for 7 months. Pitos is belgian but speaks french too, if I ain't wrong.

And OT I grew up in Manhattan (NYC) until I was 16, and then at the end of my Soph. year of HS we moved 1.5 hours "upstate" (still a suburb though) on the border of CT

I figure CT must be really nice, isn't it? The state was brought to my attention through the Gilmore Girls TV programme.
Haven't been to the states so far unfortunetally.

I know that dude Lordtech is from Brunei, I think, so he'd be the one I've encountered on here (and there was a Japanese dude that made a few posts and had this really misanthropic quote in his sig about betraying and killing the people who trust you or something )

Yeah, it definitely has some beautiful areas (it's the richest state in the US), but of course some not-so-nice areas, as always.

Checking it in the morning only takes all of half an hour or so, and then little 10-20 minute checks periodically through the day is hardly life-consuming.
