Which Katatonia song would you have at your funeral?

you don't have to put on the red light

I would play the whole Dance of december Souls album. It's just damn good :) But being a viking girl I would still prefer Bathory's Hammerheart. best requiem ever written.
haha

Personally I'm writing my own requiem. I collected about 1:30 of really sad music so far, but want to expand it to long and bitter 30 minutes.
The plan also is to include my voice with a deep reverb appearing in the music :)
My funeral will rule..
Am I invited?

Awesome, I must be there, together with Ulla and other forum members, all sobbing, it will be the epitome of the "Kata-meeting" phenomenon

Yeah, it sounds like that I can't die fast enough for you guys ;)
But first I have to complete this requiem at least..
Ulla, Bathory is awesome for any important moment in life, right?

In general Matkan Lopussa from Moonsorrow would be the perfect funeral song.

English translation:]

[AT THE JOURNEY'S END]

O' my weighing mind
like all the earth.
My life fading
behind the moss.

In the shelter of these primal trees
forsaken I may lie.
The birds, they're gone,
leaves are my only company.

Once will the worldly curtain
fall before all men.
O' hear me sing this one last song
echoing through the heavens.

Tears of my heart,
dewfall of my soul.
Let the wind carry
my cares afar.

Once will the worldly curtain
fall before all men.
O' hear me sing this one last song
echoing through the heavens.

No no, I want you to live forever and bring some flowers to my grave!

Yeah, I know what you mean, Ring of Gold was playing at my wedding! (Not that something good went out of that, haha...)

And speaking of those non-Kata songs for funeral playings, we all forgot the band that REALLY mathes! DARK FUNERAL! Open the fucking gates! :headbang:
