curious george hte movie!!! :kickass:

That's come and gone here, and yeah, it was great. Does Canada get films much later than the US? It used to be like that in England, but release dates are pretty much synch'd up now (to avoid piracy etc).

3-4 months? I assume Canada has different region code on its DVD encoding, but still, if you had a multi-region DVD player, you could probably get films on DVD from the US before they've even hit the big screens in Canada.

I never much cared for blockbuster bullshit, but now that I'm on Netflix and get to watch all these artfag flicks on a regular basis, I express my anger toward high budget Hollywood bullshit thusly: FUCK OFF.

Though I do want to see Snakes on a Plane. :dopey:

Hmm you'de think you would actually embrace the occasional blockbuster flick to break the momentum up every now and then? I don't know if this counts at "artsy", but what the fuck is up with the ending to "Audition". Damn thing was kicking ass intil all those silly little flashbacks occured. So did the fucker really end up with his leg choppy choppy and needles in his eyes, or did he just wake up from a bad dream after tapping that 24 yr old hong kong mai lai love machine?

Actually yeah, I do this. But it's usually something from 20 years ago that I've just never seen before instead of something new. :loco:

Just came back from Mission Impossible 3. Non stop excitement for 2 hours. No cheesy parachuting lamborghini 2 miles straight down into a puddle of 2 inch water James Bond shit either. This was fucking hollywood special effect filled, rip your my pals lips off your face action. Fuck yes! I'm converting to Scientology.

Going with Cars....I'll probably be taking my 4 year old.

The rest I can wait for DVD. Gotta admit, I'd like to see Da Vinci the most.

Funnily enough, I have almost no interest in Superman. How many times do we need to see this story?

I'll be first in line on the opening day of "Snakes on a Plane".

I want to see Silent Hill too, though I suspect it to be as shallow on the inside as it is stunning on the outside, quite like Gans' previous ambition "Brotherhood of the Wolves"
