Which ProgPower had the best lineup?

I still think ProgPower 2 had the best lineup...although it is a close call with 1.

I also thought that ProgPower II had the best lineup.

I've only been to II, III, and IV, and I rank them as follows:

Based on this year's lineup, I think "V" definitely has the potential to overtake "II" as my favorite ProgPower to date

I really had a hard time deciding between IV and V. The Nigtwish and Evergrey sets were the best I've seen at any of the PP events (I've been to III and IV). The inclusion of Kamelot, Adagio, and Tad Morose this year made me choose V. I've never seen those bands before and am a HUGE fan of them all, especially their word-class vocalists (Kahn, Redman, Breed). Seeing them live and meeting them will only deepen my dedication to them (and to Glenn for inviting them!!!).

I couldn't be more happy with the PPV lineup! For my personal likes, the mix of bands is perfect.

I think it's hard to rate them subjectively since I've only been to 2 and 3 and haven't seen 5. 3 was the better of the 2 by a whisker but I think when all is said and done #5 will be my favorite.

I find it hilarious that the only people who voice their opinions IN the thread are the prog-worshippers, yet based on the voting, they're in the minority by a wide, wide margin.

I'm pretty sure the tastes of the majority of fans have spoken loudly. Time and time again.

I'm definately a Power metal fan first and foremost. That's why 3 got the edge over 2. Blind Guardian, Angra, Gamma Ray, Edguy on the same stage ruled, though I was very impressed with Spiral Architect and some of the other Prog bands at 2.

Ok how is 5 in the mix??? seems hard to compair a show to another if you havent seen it yet...Heavenly, how could you put I at the bottom??? By far the most intmate, first PoS, Evergrey, Like Symphonys 4th show....

well, 5 is a bit different since it hasn't actually happened yet... but then i'm sure most people on this forum didn't see 1 either.

Hey I'm a fence-sitter when it comes to prog and power. I love them both equally... well, okay I might sway a little more to the power side a bit more often than the prog side. I do think that PPV looks to be the most balanced, so perhaps V will end up winning in the end. We'll have to wait and see, I suppose.
