Which world city is the best?

I love Chicago, but it is the only (what you might call) major city I have been to. I would love to visit Paris or Sydney. I wish I had money to travel, but Chicago can hold me over until then.

Overall, London is my favorite city in the world, not just of these choices. But I have so many fond memories of nearly every city I've travelled to. Alesund, Norway, has always been a favorite of mine, but probably because I have good memories. It would most likely be boring to live there. But how can one say until they've been everywhere?
