While I too, agree, to a certain extent, that BRI should have ended at the whisper: "Black Rose Immortal" (would have been so effective and conclusive...I just love the way he whispers that line - awesome, indeed!), the thing is...soon after, you are treated to an amazing solo/intrumental which is just absolutely brilliant. So, I don't know...
The final lines (which are far from being terrible) are perhaps my least favourite part(s) of the song....this is the ONLY song, IMO, that doesn't end exactly the way I would have liked it to....but, it's still good. The song is far too brilliant to nitpick over such a trivial matter....
