as a mixer, whiskey (I can't turn down a good whiskey and coke)... but straight shots, I can down a fifth of vodka pretty quick (a decent one, no monarch or potters!).

A few nights ago, I went to a 'speakeasy' in sf called Bourbon & Branch, where I had probably the best scotch of my life. Glenrothes 1987 single malt... Left me completely speechless (and that's hard to do).

Vodka's gross, this poll is rigged.

Personally, when it comes to it, I like a good Rye Ginger.

For vodka, I like a multitude of drinks... White Russians, Screwdrivers, Dirty Wet Martini, Paralyzers, Cape Cods, Vodka Cran-7, etc.

I get a lot of interesting drink requests sometimes too.

To me, aging of whiskey makes no difference, and premium vodkas only lessen the hangovers, nothing more personally.

I have a rum tooth.

They also do what they call 'Beverage Academy,' a one night class in Scotch, Tequilla, Vodka, or Whiskey, and they teach you what to look for, how it's made, history, etc.... and most importantly, a ton of the best of the best. I've always wanted to be a scotch connoisseir

comparing Vodka and Scotch is like comparing an obese woman to a super model...
Single Malt is best when is consumed neat, in room temperature and every sip is absolutely a symphony of flavor.
Vodka is that drink that everyone mixes with everything and the result is some juice, in the flavor of the juice with 40% alcohol in it... big deal.




(but I don't hate Vodka, for the record, just can't compare the two AT ALL)

I like Black Tooth Grins, crown & coke is a personal favorite, or a double shot of rum and coke. I do prefer whiskey over vodka anyday.
