Who else hates Harry Potter?

The books have evolved with their readership. The original readers that the 1st book was aimed at are now in the 17-19 age group, ergo the books have grown in complexity (and "darkness") with them.

ooh yer gonna hate me but I'm starting a harry potter metal band. I'm not sure what to name it, there's too many choices. If it was a punk band I would name it Mudblood of course, but whatever it's called it's gonna be epic. speaking of harry potter, have any of yall heard of the chinese pirated version called Harry Potter and the Leopard Walk up to Dragon? the cover is Harry Potter and a cartoon cenataur from a warner bros harry potter promotion, fighting a dragon that I am pretty sure is maleficent from sleeping beauty as her dragon, and the plot is a magic rain turns harry into a hobbit, and then it is an almost word for word translation of the hobbit with the names changed to harry potter characters, and then after he goes through the hobbit story he turns back into harry potter. hilarious

It's all ready done...we have a band in Norway called Gaia Epicus, they have written a couple of songs about Harry Potter. I don't think they are very popular though...
I started reading the books when I was about 11, but I still think they are entertaining, even though they are quite predictable.

The books are nothing special, but the fan base annoys the hell out of me.

The recent Harry Potter movie BLEW. Wasn't worth it at all

Haha, I heard that too. I also heard the only thing worth my 8 bucks was seeing Dudley as a wigger.
