Try The George around the corner from the Mean Fiddler. It's not Northern prices but it's better than £3.20..

The Crobar a bit further up the road is full of industry twats drinking la-de-da Mexican lager, so avoid like the pox.

I'll definitely be at the show if the support band is who I think it will be...
