Not to be a dick, but are you being serious or sarcastic?? If there is an actor or some shit you like and he comes out with a piece of crap movie should you buy the dvd and see it in the theaters every chance you get just because he's in it??? If you drive nothing but Chevy's or Fords and they decide to change their line of cars to total crap cars you hate should you still buy one just to support the company?? How can you possibly know this. Once a new album comes out then you can judge that. If you think the Joey era albums were bad 'products' you are in no way shape or form an Anthrax fan. Might as well go to another forum. Those albums are what defined Anthrax as a band. Were some of the best Thrash albums of all time. And yes Joey was part of it.

That's exactly what i always liked Anthrax for (apart from great music of course ^^), they're not such uptight, narrow minded shitheads like most metalheads. Everything that's fun is allowed. Never gave a shit about looks, clothes, haircuts, whatever. They even wore Public Enemy shirts on stage. Try that at a Slayer concert... "you listen to HipHop? I should punch you in the face!"

Yeah, he bought them, that's why he's trying to sell them, so he gets his money back. If he can't find someone who takes 'em he should go, but if he didn't like Joey the last time he was in the band, why shouldn't he try to get his money back?

Exactly the point I was trying to make. You are a little more diplomatic then I. For real I hate like when your at a show and some 17 year old trys to grill you cos he's got his 18 year old scream bloody gore shirt that he paid $150 for on eBay (and it doesn't even have sleeves) and I just showed up in my work clothes. Fuck you man I have a job and a family and a mortgage and I don't get to sit around my parents basement trying to look cooler then everyone just wanna rock out and escape reality for awhile.

Calm down Sparky. Nowhere did I say the Joey era albums were bad "products". I dig the Joey-era albums, saw the band many times back then. The "live show/line-up" aka: "product", they're putting out now people don't like, don't like it don't buy it or see it, meaning ticket & show. To say that someone isn't a fan of a band because they don't like an album or previous singer is fucking retarded, what are you 12??? I'm gonna contact Ultimate Metal and see if they can set something up on here where I can post in crayon for you kids, maybe you'll understand and comprehend things better. Well... I would have gone NO matter what IF they'd played here with John Bush! I was going last year too...but then they didn't show up!
Like I won't go to see Black Sabbath with Ozzy or Deep Purple with Gillan...I'd rather NOT go to see Anthrax with Joey.

Current lineup - for me - is somehow "inferior" it is like Pepsi add says "been there, done that"... so when my calender showed that there's something else during that weekend...I decided that trip to Pori is NOT worth the hassle...I will be at summer cottage on the other side of country...

I gave them a chance...I watched the clips from youTube.... And I'll skip this show. Perhaps when new album comes out my mind has changed or I'm curious enough...

You don't like Deep Purple with Ian Gillan? So whom do you prefer? David Coverdale? I always thought they should have let Glenn do the singing. They did put out some good songs in the Mk3 lineup, but... the essence of Deep Purple for me will always be the Made In Japan record.

I wrote inferior with quotation marks because Anthrax - for me - is still THE most important metal band - NO matter who is singing... I had to choose whether I go to see Anthrax with Joey or do something else and I decided to do something else...I suppose I'm entitled to make that decision without someone here complaining that I'm NOT supporting Anthrax...or someone sharing his gay fantacies....
