Who started the trend for glam bands doing power ballads?

JOURNEY!!! :headbang:

Steve Augeri, or whatever his name is (the guy who replaced Steve Perry) sounds remarkably like Steve Perry on the DVD I have... but also seems to have breasts. I hope they're just pecs, but they look like breasts. Not in the "everyone has breasts, silly!" sense, either.

LOL ive got that Journey dvd. Excellent! Augeri is married by the way but maybe he wears his wifes undergarments on tour?

Nightranger. Im with you Tinman. Dawn Patrol is their best album. Midnight Madness second best. I liked them best with crunchy guitars. Got a bit too soft at times for my taste. Theres an album with a different singer Gary Moon that is quite good too.

Very good band. Gillis and Watson really can rip. Jack Blades and Kelly Keagy share the vocals well too.

now playing: Dan Reed Network - Breathless ep

Yes they are. If I was Vivian, and I was touring and had the chance of playing Dio songs every night or songs like Photograph, Too Late For Love, Animal, Women, Let It Go, Bringin' On The Heartbreak, Another Hit & Run, High N Dry, Rock Rock Till You Drop, Lets Get Rocked, Make Love Like A Man, Two Steps Behind, Stagefright, Hysteria, etc.. I know what I'd be choosing.

(And yes, Def Leppard have been opening most of their shows on their last tour with the entire side 1 of High N Dry, Let It Go through to Switch 625).

I know that, its not really an argument. I'm just saying if I was Viv I'd rather be in Def Leppard so I can understand why he is doing what he is doing.
