Who's going to the OL gig?

I wonder how many non-Israeli people will be on the gig, now that the situation escalated in the past days.

My parents are giving high preassure on me not to go, although everyone says Tel aviv is a safe place, nothing should happen. (so said by the foreing office in germany and People from Tel Aviv)

Anyone will share your thoughts with me and tell me what to do?

I feel a littel like staring a bad movie.... first i don't get a passport, then the ticket is too expensive, now i got passport and ticket, and what happens??? fucking war starts ...

the situation is hostile only up north
it's pretty quiet in the center...if not for the reprots on tv I wouldn't even feel any difference

I don't think you have to worry.....

in my opinion the Hizballah won't send rockets up to here, cause they don't have the capability yet.....
they can reach out here, but they still can't messure the distances.....
and they don't want to show the world they can do mistakes...

come here, you will see a great gig, and have lots of fun.....!
and I believe all the Israelis in this forum will be happy to help you doing it....

everyone should come.....will have a great party!
:)

Ich sage gerne Wörter wie Scheiße zu Erwachsenen. (Don't know what you mean with "auf"... up to... we don't refer to grown-ups as beeing taler then us :) ) But, hey you're getting better;-)

What about a deal, you get me a beer and i teach you german?:) i'm a good teacher;) oh, and after the concert i get you one and you teach me how to say "Damn good concert" in ivrit:)

bo nischte biera. Ten li shluk?!:) (I know, one day this sentence will help me survive in Israel :) )

i guess i know most of the rude curses in hebrew, but i am too well raised to write all of them here...

words are nothing when there's no intention behind them
I'll try to curse a little less so I won't get angry messeges from people
I'll teach you some nice things in hebrew

Elyia I'm non Israeli and I should be going, it's not very dangerous at all. I haven't noticed any change since the start of the year and everyone not in the north seems to be going about their ordinary lives.

I used to speak hebrew when I was a kid, but I don't remember too much of it now. I also don't remember too many curses. When I was 15 I actually spoke it fluently too since I had to relearn all of it for the second language regent exam, but I have forgotten it again.

but are you going? will you find yourself?(discover god) and will I find myself(discovering a ticket)

I knew I shouldn't make any plans about the upcoming gig... I'm not making it after all. Like I said, war and plans don't go together at all.... :erk:
I had this thought that maybe it would be suitable to postpone it a bit because of what's going around, but on second thought, such thing as an OL gig is especialy welcome in such times...:headbang:
Have fun everyone!:Smokin:

Ich bin ein arschloch

How about cursing in russian.... no offence to hebrew, but russian always seemed to me much more rewarding in cursing....

I know plenty of Russian curses. Everyone in my high school was Russian. I had to pick up something.

With me, I can understand what people say, but it's hard to put what I want to say into the language. I could pick it up in a few weeks, but I haven't had the chance yet since I haven't spoken to my Israeli family in a few years and I speak to my Israeli friends in English.

as it looks like, Hebrew seems to be an somehow easy language if you keep practicing?!

Well, i'm about to learn it, but i'm far from having a conversation in hebrew. Hopefully i will learn it quickly:)

see you on saturday!;):headbang:
