Anyways I'm gonna get one and some waves plugs and transfer some challenge and response licences to it as well, I just wasn't exspecting to shell that much just for the stupid licence key.

I need RTAS? Well I suppose I could get a wrapper but I dunno. Honestly I don't mind keys anyhow, melodyne only came with permission to install it on 2 machines (not that I need more), I would rather just have the licence on a key personally.

I'll probably end up needing one (an ilok) at some point anyhow so I don't care, I was just shocked at how much the stupid key cost. I'm not getting a big package anyhow, I'm going with the musicians bundle 2 even though I'm only interested in 2 of the 6 plugs.

I watching them being used at the studio where I am interning and now of course I want them .

I love the stillwell plugins. Mostly Event Horizon (for bass), VibeEQ (for guitar busses and the master), and Major Tom (for wherever it works!)
Wrapped into PT they work flawlessly.

A couple of the waves plugs are worth the money like the SSL Bus compressor, the bundles come with too much useless shit though and really slows down the load time of PT.

All well I'm getting the bundle at an academic discount so in the end it will be kind of like getting an ilok for free.

But still $40 is rediculous for what the stupid thing is.

Yeah mine came with my PTM-P NFR (which is expired) but the iLock is free. only thing on it is my transfuser demo (which is pretty fucking awesome and not just for loops)

Ohhh god.. Transfuser... I haven't used it.. but it does look kinda GURUish does it not....

The stuff you can do with loops is pretty awesome, you can also use it as a drum sequencer, or a vocoder.

Stick Transfuser on an aux with the audio input preset. Then you can use up to 12 of it's built in effects on anything in realtime. Stuff like spring reverb and bit crushing, and reverse effects you can't get otherwise.
