Why metal& metalheads don't get respect and never will

Get the new slayer dvd and watch the fans section. It is self-explanatory. These people tend to represent at least half of the metal scene. I have never scene metalheads look so pitiful. Does slayer accurately reflect the idiocy of their fan base for putting these people on tape. Other than that the set is incredible and definitly captures the magic that is slayer live.It is the best sounding I've heard a band at least that heavy sound. Crystal clear sounding better and heavier than the acctual records. A definite must have for any fan of slayer.

I saw the thread tittle and was thinking the same damn thing before I even read you post. On the slayer DvD, you see that the majority of metal fans (or atleast slayer fans) are fucking idiots. I personally enjoy slayer but most of the people on that documentary are fucking idiots. I do think that slayer did that for a joke you know. I mean it is pretty funny hearing the "drunken oracle" talk about how he wants slayer to play point form Diablica in Crapica. The intervewier on the tape has a pretty sarcastic tone if you notice. What really surprised me is that on the documentary, Kirk Hammet is on it talking about slayer. I mean I saw Scott Ian and Les Claypool and thought cool, but I was fucking amazed that Kirk was on the documentary. I think Individually all the members of Metallica are cool guys even Lars (i'm sure if you approached him on the street for an autograph he would sign it). It's just that they suck as a band now.

And I figured while I'm on the subject I'll give you my reveiw of the DvD. Its pretty cool, good setlist except I wished it had Black Magic. The sound quality is great. To bad Bostaph fucking sucks. They shoulda recorded it with Dave but I guess they didn't know he would be back in the band. Paul can't keep tempo on a few places and he fucks up the drum roll on angel of death.

are you guys really that superficial? let people do whatever they want. most people wont give metal the time of day anyways. so who really cares, as long as we know what metal really is about thats all that really matters. people are going to believe what ever they want. and thats the case with anything. so i suggest you all stop worrying about whatevery one else thinks, cuz everyone else doesnt know, doesnt care, and they dont want to. its as simple as that.

I don't smoke and I like Pantera, notice I said like, because I haven't heard a decent album from them since Far Beyond Driven. I also like to wear cargo shorts. I find it funny when I see some idiot walking down the street in black pleather pants, a black trench coat, a black long sleeve shirt and black make-up on, when it is 102 fucking degrees out. no the fact is that the majority want talented easy listening so that everyone can enjoy it...if you look at the facts everyone has talent who plays music but not everyone wants to hear screaming about satanic shit...which is only a little bit of the metal scene..no one wants to hear loud fast thrashy guitars...no one wants to hear about war....no one wants to go to a concert and get bashed in the face...they dont want their kids listening to it...

2 words. limp bizkit. there definatly some no talent dumbasses in that band. no, i doesnt take alot of effort to play a guitar. anyone can go up there and play power chords, its not rocket science.

and the main point i was adressing the first time didnt have todo with musicians, it had todo with the listener. most people dont care about talent, they want ear candy. somthing catchy and simple they can get into. anything with technicality they dont want because its too much to comprihend.
