I think what peyton wanted to say is that there is a bit of industrial stuff in new songs. But anyway thats good.
I dont know about all you people in Finland, but in America nu metal is generally classified as heavier low rhythm riffs with breakdowns. Only thing bodom has that nu metal doesnt is solos. I still think bodom is awesome but there is no chances of me ever buying any new bodom merch untill they go back to the neoclassical sound. I think Alexi is one of the best guitarists around but the last few albums/singles he has been holding back his talent. And for all you fags that have a problem with my OPINION how about you get a life beyond shit talking on Internet forums.

dude wtf...that is not how you classify nu metal at all. Hell I don't even know where "nu metal" comes from because everything that is classified under that name is not even metal to begin with so where the name "nu metal" originates is beyond me..more like "nu rock". And by saying that, you are basically saying that bands like Pantera, Black Label Society, and even In Flames are all "nu metal" because they tune their guitars low and have breakdown riffs.Peyton said:

old bodom= new bodom. it just depends what you are in the mood for IMO. they neoclassical stuff is awesome but it just has too much of a light tone to it. the new stuff is more baisc but it is also more heavey too.

yep...both of styles are good...even if i like hatebreeder better than their new stuff...their gigs are gonna be 100 times better with heavier song like AYDY? God imagine yourself in a gig during the AYDY? chorus....fuck cant wait for the quebec gig wahhaaaaa

yeah dude it isnot like they arent releasing their old albums anymore. plus their set list is gonna have a mix of all their songs from all the albums so cob= kickass
I said nothing about their shows not being awesome. Yeah that one dude was probably right saying they might be doing it for money. But theyre loosing some of their fans in the process. Everyone i talked to about the newer bodom stuff has said it sucked and i agree. If bodom had been playing there newer music when they were trying to get signed i doubt they would of and we wouldnt be talking about them now.

Common you guyz . . . please stop fighting. We all love Bodom here and I belive that everyone is entitled to there own opinion with out it getting stomped all over. I haven't listen to any of the new stuff Bodom has chucked out but I'm sure it'll be great. 
Most bands go through a sound change and that's very natural. The reasons being record sales, popularity ect., you tell me. I have faith in CoB because they've never failed me before and I don't think they'd start to disappoint in the future. Have faith. Peace everyone.

let's wait till new cd comes out, probably everyone who listen it says soemthing like "OMFG this i great", if you know what i mean, wasn't this kind of thing back then, when In your face releasing day was putted on?everyone was back then whining about that name wasn't such good as SN,BN you know.
