Wicked

I'm kinda new here, so maybe this post have allready been discussed. Anyway: Wicked from Oddesey, doesn't the intro, when the beat comes, sound very much Pantera?

Yeah well, it actually does a little bit if you look at the guitars. But apart from that, it doesn't sound like Pantera if you ask me.

I love the beat that Jason plays during the main riff and verses of Wicked. The very simple bass-snare-bass-snare pattern works extremely well in making a badass riff even more badass sounding.

...and what a killer groove. Symphony X has never really grooved like they have in this song.

Its really Pantera sounding until Russel starts singing.
