Will Anathema release Singles off the new album?

bands like anathema have a weird way of releasing the absolute worst possible singles, like there is some force or conspiracy that keeps them from commercial success. if they do release one, i hope some serious thought goes into it..

it has to be something that the braindead mtv watching youth remember from the first listen, and it shouldn't be selected by someone who has listened to the album to death. bring in some fresh ears!

i could go on, but no one reads.

dunno but anathema albums often sound somehow like a whole to me => dunno what single you could pick out... surely not like after having heard the album a zillion times... it gets too close then.

hmm what about the first song on an album. i often skip it on albums (in utero, saviour, the ideal crash) though i don't think it are bad songs... they could do well as singles even... or not?

i think a quiet song would do the trick - i havent heard Flying and ... the other one, but Closer could do for a single..?

it might appeal the housewives if they play it daily on prime time fag-o-clock? or sherry round 12 'ey?

Release would've been the best single for Fine Day, not Pressure and not Panic either (excellent song but people would think they play this kind of songs all the time). I don't remember what was the single for Alt4, was it Fragile Dreams? Cos that would've been a good choice anyway then. And Eternity is just not an album which you can reach a wide audience with in any way.

if you can drop a whole part from a song, then it had nothing to do there in the first place

btw, what is it Vinny is saying on there before "A Dying Wish" "we are Anathema the beautiful"? Sure sounds like it. Talk about cheesy if that's it.

Allan he says 'Krakow.. we are anathema from liverpool, this is are final song for today and you've been fucking great, out final song, it's called A dying wish,

correct me if i'm wrong on some of that, cos i lost the dvd a while ago but i got the first bit right
