Austin is A LOT of fun on the main strips of bars and neat shops. We've been all around the rest of Austin and the rest of it's kinda blah. Austin is also the only major city in TX that I've been to where, when you drive 10 minutes out of it, you're out in the country again. Most of the others have enough suburbs that it takes a good while to get out into hillbillyville. So, yeah, Austin is fun, but it's a bit too closely landlocked by country ignorance.

Despite all of the "omgz <3 texas", I think the Northeast is just awesome. It all depends on what you're looking for. Derick and Cara obviously found what they needed... I know what I need, and I'm happy with my current location. Location is like entertainment... Some people might like it, some people won't.
