They fucking rule and they play in my beloved Athletic Bilbao. Brave, tall and strong... not as the dwarfs playing now.

Yep, that was really the issue, the Swiss were just a wall in the middle, the real chances for the Spanish team were coming in from the wing on the crosses and they werent big enough compared to the pretty large Swiss guys to properly take advantage of that.

Second half was intense. That atomic bomb that Spain sent to the upper crossbar, followed not much later by that attack from Swiss with a dribble streak that ended on the crossbar were ace. The last minutes were pure agony.

Congrats to the Swiss, it was obvious they were going for the all defensive game and managed to score that goal half lucky (although the one that hit the crossbar was luckier to not get in), while Spain really pushed forward but were terrible when shooting for goal, plus their aerial game was totally useless against the huge swiss guys.

Now I can only hope they win the other two, and most likely face Brasil in 8ths

I may be biased but I think greece-nigeria was one of the best games so far in the world cup which is pretty bad in general. It's still soon though...

Next match for Greece is with Argentina and it's going to be pretty difficult even for a draw, but I will be satisfied if we play as good as today.
