The talkbox idea seemed like an interesting one at first so I decided to bite. I'm not always willing to involve myself in technical discussions such as these because of my (mostly) lay status regarding the subject matter. However, having assumed that the "talkbox" rammpeth referred to is one of those voice/instrument distortion mechanisms, and having somewhat of an idea of what they're all about, I proceeded to make a semi-serious attempt in joining the discussion - probably a bad idea.

Though, it is interesting to note that some participants in this thread (here[/]) have totally dismissed the idea without further consideration.
Puh! Perhaps they already have some inside knowledge on this "new" dt sound?
