and yeah, Simon would know it, since Farnham played a bit in the UK in the late 80's and early 90's.
even a few times in the states and Canada in the wake of Crowded House and other known Aussie acts.

and the little guy who sung it got through, so it seemed to either be a known song or at least went down well with the yanks.
