Wow..

I have played most of those games at least three times through. Hell, according to steam, I've logged 168 hours in ME2. Most games last around 20-30 hours. You do the math. Actually, one of the reasons I love most bioware games is their replayability. IMO, there's usually enough choices and character customization to make multiple playthroughs interesting, and they're usually short enough that doing more than one playthrough isn't exhausting (I still havent finished Oblivion).

See, that's the problem with Bioware games. The first run through is amazing, the story draws you in, then once you beat it, there's no reason to ever play the game again, EVER.

Baldurs Gate, KOTOR, Jade Empire, Dragon Age, Mass Effect, it's all the same shit. A movie. Watch it once, then never again.

Movies are slightly different, but not much. You already know the plot and what's going to happen so there's not really a whole lot, if anything to be suprised with. However, if it's been 10 - 15 years since you've watched something, there are parts that you could have forgotten, such as dialogue OR maybe you've simply never watched it outside of the theater or with a good sound setup. Or, there could simply be a handful of scenes that you really enjoy watching. It also does not hurt that they are usually two hours or less either.

I've had The Matrix DVD since it first came out, and probably watched it two or three times ten years ago. I just recently picked it up on Blu-Ray and watched it in Dolby Headphone with my Ultrasone 900s. Regardless of what the specifics of what caused this are, I was hearing a lot of [sound effects and ambience] things I'd never heard before in the movie. So much so that it felt like a modified edition. Plus, it's still one of the best movies to watch for the audio.

Games on the other hand--unless it's a fighting game, or action shooter--usually don't get much, if any replay at all from me. The Mass Effect games are an outlier for me though. I played the first game three and a half times, and then probably played the second at least ten. Sure, it's just extremely minor takes on the same shooting gameplay--unless you're a Vanguard--but it was actually fun to play. That's also probably why I'm setting myself for the disappointment of a lifetime in Deus Ex: HR and ME3.

DXHR will not disappoint. I can't imagine anyone being disappointed with that game because as I've said a million times, it is truly the sequel to the original deus ex that invisible war should've been. It's like the first game, but has a lot of modern additions which really make it great, and the choices that affect the storyline are really serious and make you think. It's also not choosing just dialogue choices, what you do can make a huge difference (one small example is in a mission where you have to rescue hostages the way you deal with it affects how the hostages, your boss, the people at your company, and those in the city react to you because it's all over the news). I cracked and played the beta which is maybe 5 hours of the detroit hub and I replayed it literally 3 times (just that small section) and found new things/new decisions and conquences each time. it's amazing how much they've buried into the game and I can't wait to replay it over and over and over again finding every little secret and doing every choice (the experience system also pushes you to discover new areas, do things etc).

I downloaded kotor and kotor 2; I probably won't have much time to play them since I have a bunch of games to do before them but I figured I don't lose anything if I go back and play them. probably won't finish them since I've got so many other games to play but oh well.

My last thing is for any of you who have played Crysis, how can I adjust graphics and get it to play perfectly? everyone used to say how great crysis looks, but to be honest on my computer it doesn't look that great. How can I choose if DX9 or 10 is running (I have an ati 6900 series) and which is better? another problem is an issue I have ina lot of games, I think theres this feature called transparent AA which basically makes things like trees, leaves and items in the distance look transparent etc, but in most of my games its broken and they look super pixelated and ugly. In crysis this is realllyy apparent due to all the plants and its really fucking bad. I've been using the in game options and can run the game really smoothly on High with even maybe 2 or 3 options on very high, but running them all on very high slows it down a lot (especially big options). How can I fix that transparent AA in crysis and in other games, plus what can I do to make crysis look its best (getting rid of the motion blur would also be nice) because it really isn't looking like screenshots at all and is just ugly jagged foilage and some awful looking LODs/water.

I think it's a nice story for children. But for an actual movie the whole plot is just written terrible. Like it was written by an english housewife, who got no clue about writing ....

if you read the whole book series and then go back and read the first book, it becomes unmistakeable that the first book is clearly written with the intention of it being made into a movie, the first book is written like a screenplay
