Writing guitar in the style of AA?

Well i have kinda progressed to the stage where i want to write my own music. I just think the AA riffs for every song are just br00t! Any tips on writing like them, or just viking metal in general?

The best advice I can give you is learn their songs and find out what scales they play in. How long have you been playing?
