Well, I bought Def Leppard's new album "X" today, and after one listen I think it would be the album of the year. Great stuff!

Certainly their best album since "Hysteria", and while it does have a bit of filler which was so apparent on "Slang" and especially "Euphoria", some of the tracks are real corkers... and guitar fans, Phil and Viv are *brilliant* - killer solos galore, especially on "Scar" and "Kiss The Day"!

I just listened to samples from X and I must say, it really sucks I think. I won't be buying it, that's for sure.

I also listened to samples from Euphoria, Slang and Retroactive. A 30 second sample from almost every track.

Def Leppard definitely ends with Adrenalize for me. Well with Hysteria really, Adrenalize wasn't special either.
