Yakuza

I read on here that they're touring with The Dillinger Escape Plan. Interview? Wow man. Do you work in a magazine or something? How about asking them questions like these..

1) What bands influenced your sound?
2) Why did you name your band after the Japanese mafia?
3) What do you all think about the following bands:
Sepultura
Pantera
Obituary
Candiria
Tomahawk
4) Any hobbies besides music?
5) How did you get into music in the first place?
6) How is the new album going to sound like compared to your first one?
7) What source do you rely on to find music that you like?
8) What type of music do you like the best? Metal? Classical? Punk? etc

YAKUZA Added To The OPETH/LACUNA COIL Tour - Mar. 17, 2003

The Chicago based experimental quartet YAKUZA have just been added to the first half of the OPETH/LACUNA COIL tour that will begin May 1 is Seattle, Washington. Garnering high accolades from the broad spectrum of the rock media for their Century Media debut, "Way of The Dead", YAKUZA can play to crowds as diverse as their influences, as proven by their recent appearances at the March Metal Meltdown and South By Southwest showcase.

The band spent most of this past year sharing stages with the likes of the DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN, CANDIRIA, THE POSTMAN SYNDROME, HIGH ON FIRE and KEN VANDERMARK and the OPETH tour is another perfect way for them to reach another whole new audience.

YAKUZA w/ OPETH, LACUNA COIL:

May 01 - Graceland – Seattle, WA
May 02 - Roseland – Portland, OR
May 04 - Canes Bar & Grill – San Diego, CA
May 05 - Huntridge Theater- Las Vegas, NV
May 06 - X-Scape – Salt Lake City, UT

I would ask them something like:

How can you make such a horrible music????

Thier vocalist uses the saxophone in their songs. No metal band ever does that.

That Chicago Typewriter song is somewhat creepy. Don't you agree?

Dear Murai

Another metal band have a sax in their songs. Amorphis -Tuonela & AM Universum have songs with sax & flute
