Not only Nightwish... a fan of all power metal bands that can make black metal sound like nu-metal.

Shut the fuck up. Nightwish are basically 80's pop with a little Metal thrown in anyway, all this cheesy modern flower metal can fuck off.

To me, all metal genres rule like Thrash, death, power, speed, doom except black metal that soud like shit!!!

Okay! let's end this dumb arguement, you worship black metal and I don't like it and you can't change me! I like power, thrash, death, speed, doom more than black! You can't change that!

YEA! TAKE THAT!

You're entitled to your opinion, obviously, but have you even tried black metal? (listening to a 30 second clip and disliking it doesn't count, every genre has good and bad bands. You ought to know.)

Yeah, I tried a couple like Immortal, Mayhem, Emperor, Burzum and many more, but I find there is something missing. I don't know what's so atmospheric about Black Metal. I like good riffs and wild, melodic solos. Why do I like Power Metal the most is because there is this feeling that you're in an adventure or there's a story told. The musical composition in PM is great.

Lately I've been drooling over Angantyr "Sejr" and Nasheim "Undergång," I think the "Evighet/Undergång" CD will be better than the tape though, no lovely volume fluctuations :tickled:

And of course DsO has already been mentioned.

I'd notice ...
1. SHINING "Through Years of Oppression"
2. CAPRICORNUS "Alone Against All"
3. RED HARVEST "Internal Punishments Programs"
4. WARLOGHE 'Womb of Pestilence' reed.
5. SUFFOCATION "Souls to Deny"
6. CLANDESTINE BLAZE / SATANIC WARMASTER Split
7. NÅSTROND "Celebration of the Four"
8. HELLVETO "Medieval Scream"
9. TOROIDH / ARDITI 'United in Blood'
10. XASTHUR "A Gate through Bloodstained Mirrors"
11. HELLKULT "The Collection"
12. VELIMOR 'For the Glory of our Kin' / 'Rujan'
13. VORDR 'I'
14. THE CHOSEN "For the Glory of the Empire"
15. NORTT "Gudsforladt"
16. DEICIDE "Scars of the Crucifix"
so far ...

2004? I think not :) I'm not bashing you or anything, just pointing out that this one's a few years old... "Telepathic With the Deceased", "To Violate the Oblivious" and some splits were the ones from this year. Blah to Xasthur, I have to be in a very specific mood to enjoy them much anymore.

Hail,

Tx for correction.
I know what I write though, as this album was also reedited in >2004< , the Warloghe album is also an older album reedited in 2004.
I though think it sounds better than Telepathic with the Deceased, and honestly, don't think one second that I come one day to write down such a title as 'To Violate whatever ....'.

Overwise, my salute,
and PS: I did add a #17 today: KARNA (Rus) "Dead Cities Lights" (indus/Dark Ambiant)
