Someone sent me a screenshot of one of Blair's news posts on toolband.com from when yesterday's newsletter was posted where he says that's not actually the cover, but now that post is gone. I've noticed Blair has a tendency to post some news, and then quickly retract it to post something stupid instead, so who knows.... this could have been a vice versa situation.

The single hits the radio on 4/17, this time I'll try avoiding it until album release date. Schism was somewhat ruined for me by the time Lateralus came out, took me a while to get over that one being overplayed, and couldn't easily fit it back into the album listen experience.
From what I have heard, that IS the actually cover, but the logo and album title will look different on the final version. Amazon just wanted a picture to go with the pre-order thing or something like that.

I think lateralus must have taken at least 6-8 months for me to get truely in sync with it
but like the last 2 this will be a release day buy, fuck samples
as for the cover, if you look at the previous 2 albums the packaging was pretty innovative on the first pressings
I hope they do something in line with that and the preview is just a hint at it
