Oh yeah and when I say "best album evAr" I mean it's my personal favorite of all time. Were I to qualify something as an objective best album evAr, it would likely be Abbey Road or Zoso or something along those lines.

Oh! But my first amp was actually some big nasty tube PA amp from a company called AIMS and I had a 15" Fender cab to go along with it. I hated the tone back then but would kill to have it back, oh well. I traded it for an easy chair and a DOD chorus pedal WTF!!!

I was so fucking thrilled when I got my peavy 15'' combo. I kept my Crate, just cause I couldn't play the peavy in the house without causing the asbestos ceiling to crumble.. I just remember working my way through Tool, Black Sabbath, Danzig, Misfits, and Motorhead songs. I was never a good bassist by any means, but at least I could play thrash without a pick.

I totally disagree. That album is chalk-full of fantastic lyrics and that is all he could come up with for that line?! Bleh!

also i a lot of songs he brings lines in that are really blatant and straightforward
It keeps tool lyrics on a connecting level, if they were all convoluted and obscure like a lot of smart arse lyricists it wouldn't connect with people so easily
its why there are catchy parts in songs
