Introduce yourself, a short bio, perhaps... the little steps to know each other better :)

Well: I'm 19, in some days I'll become a social worker and I live in some spot noone ever wanted to live in in East germany :)

I hope this will progress well, would really like to know more abotu you people!

Brother and sister... well, I have one brother, 12 years older than me :) And one half-brother whom I haven't seen for 2 years maybe...

A mexican! Also rarely seen. And a fan of swedish Death metal even! Great! Literature student! Well, somthings just seem weird, don't they ;)

LOL... I also haven't thought about working much yet... and hope I won't have to, yet...
 
well there is a belief in Mexico that if you get into internet often you are a nerd but I pay no attention to that.

people think I am a psycho because I read while listening to metal but I think it's really easy once you focus and it's easier than reading with the noise in the streets hehehe

but I was completely drunk

21 years old, from New Mexico (note word "New" there ;) ). Work at a health food/herb store, starting college in the Fall, listen to music every spare moment I get, am a compulsive CD collector, clean freak, dog lover, etc...I also play drums and some guitar, recorded some demos with a band awhile back (on drums) but am currently bandless...*sniff*...

...and I like visiting forums like this from time to time, it's one of the few on ultimate metal that has extremely openminded people.

Well, about me:
My name is Mark, I'm 15 years old. I don't work yet. I listen to ALL types of metal. I have no favorite band, because I love so many different bands from many different genres... I also love many bands from all over the world. I have too many CDs, and never know what to listen to. But I usually am listening to something I listened to not too long ago. I love rockin' out on my guitar. My parents have been divorced since I was 5 years old. I like a girl named Leah, whom might go out with me. I hate labeling people into groups; such as "goths", "punks", or "preps". I can make friends with just about anyone. And that's about it.

I enjoy reading when I have a book, but for some reason I don't buy them.

If I get really bored i'll drink sometimes, I never get really wasted though, that's not fun.

I smoke pot when I can afford it.

My favorite thing to do is daydream and "zone out", don't ask me why, but I love to just zone out and let my thoughts wander. Sometimes I can actually construct a fantasy that I think is real until I un-zoneout. I can really get into CD's too like this, like if it's a concept album I can go inside the story :eek:

I also have been playing bass for about 2 months or so, i'm not very good yet, my specialty song is the simpsons theme song. I can also play some jazz and Opeth riffs. I have began to fuck around and play my own riffs, but they are very simplistic.

I am currently single, if any of you sweet Norweigan/Swedish/Finnish/whatever ladies want to move to Jacksonville and be with me PM me :D

O yes, I live in Jacksonville Florida, which is in the Southeast United States. It is hot here, yep.

I am non-religious, but I don't rule out the possibility of the divine or what not. I like to think about stuff like that, it can be amusing.

I love to listen to music, and just let it take me away until I burst into tears, or fall out of my chair. Sometimes the most beautiful voice/riff/melody will just set me off, and everything after that is pure beauty.

I am pretty sporatic as you can see from me jumping around from random topics in short paragraphs, I can express myself best like this, rather than organising all my thoughts and putting them together, doesn't work. I'm left-handed

I think I want to be a tattoo artist when I grow up, and follow in my uncles footsteps. I am a very, very relaxed person (see lazy), I love just lounging around and being happy.

My favorite drink is cherry coke, but I think I want to quit drinking coke and eating unhealthy soon, it makes me feel bad and I hate how it makes my teeth feel.

I am trying to stop watching TV right now, I never watch it except sunday, once the simpsons and six feet under go off the air I will never watch it again.

The simpsons and Six feet under are my favorite TV shows, my favorite movies are Run Lola Run (Lola Rennt) and Terminator 2 Judgement day

I am also learning German now, Ich lerne Deutsch :D Jetzt muß ich gehen!
 
Hmm, im 18, live in Los Banos California. I like it here, its small but it has all my friends so I am satisfied.

Metal takes up half of my day hehe, once I get home I am listening to a CD or playing mp3s, or watching music videos (ON MY COMP!). I enjoy all ranges of metal, but the more melodic bands are the ones that are at the top of my list. My favorite band would be In Flames, since they deserve the appreciation from me cause they got me into extreme metal period.

As for school, I play Football, thats fun. Yeah Im a big guy, im 6'5 270, NO IM NOT TRANSLATING TO METRICS :D . I graduate in about 30 days! Than it is off to college, which i have already applied for and taken a test :D .

I am single, because I suck and im a lazy loser......or something like that hehe. Yeah I have women friends tho so Im doing ok for myself. :D (I love grins!!!)

I play guitar, for bout 2 years now, but unforunately like Oyo I still suck :bah: . But I can play Afraid to Shoot Strangers all the way through (no solo..)!

I am 18 and from Edmonton, Canada. I take library technology and am done my first year (one more to go :D ). I'm an only child.

I like music, mostly metal, but I do love blues-metal/rock and stuff by David Gray or older material by Tina Turner. I don't like to watch much tv or see many movies. I used to read and sew a lot, but don't have much time to do that now that I am in college. Just mend some of my own clothes.

I like going to UM and the Dave Matthews Band bridge board. It is better here than there.

I am single... and looking. I am also really, really weird... enough to scare some people away. :D
 
I'm 24, and live in Wellington, New Zealand (Wellington being the captial city).

I work as a computer programmer, though currently I am unemployed :( I'm filling in time by learning how to do games, I just got a 3D modelling program, so learning my way through that (being unemployed is scaring me- I'm starting to become one of those people that buy's technical books for fun.......)

My main hobby is Warhammer 40,000; It's a wargame thing, with masses of 2 inch tall models, moving on a table and stuff :D

I'm very much into music- been playing guitar since I was 11. Focused on classical for about 10 years. I studied it at University and everything. I discovered My Dying Bride in my 2nd year, realised that was what I wanted to devote my life to, ended up dropping out in my 3rd year so never got my degree, but came away with a diploma anyway (my parents weren't happy about it, but I never went there to get a qualification anyway. I wanted to see what my potential was, and I answered all my questions). Now I play nothing but electric guitar (metal). I have been unable to find a band at all in the last 4 or 5 years, which sucks as my main reason for playing has always been performing, but oh well.

favourite type of music is Doom metal :doom: Started listening to metal when I was 9 (thanks, Def Leppard :D)

I am very much a loner and have no close friends, which at times can be annoying, but generally I prefer it this way.

Ummm, that's about it, I think. I don't post here much, so don't expect to see much of me, but I do read everything here each day :D

I am 17 from a very small town in Washington State. I start college this fall and will be moving to a bit bigger town in Washington. I work part time making military dog tags and any kind of pet tag you could imagine. My favorite band is Vintersorg with Nightingale/Opeth/The Black League. Like yourdeadgroom I am a loner and like it that way. I spend way to much of my money on music but its what I truly love.

Well, I'm 18, from a small, boring place in Norway. Honestly, you will never find a place where less happens than where I live. Our nearest neighbor lives across the fields from us, but from there it would be 5 km to the next nearest.
Like at least two of the others I prefer being a loner.

Hobbies right now would include listening to music, tinkering with computers and getting through the last couple of weeks of school
Other than that I really would like to learn how to play bass or guitar (or both).

One of the most boring things I have ever done was 'babysit' my brother on a Darude concert. Think I fell asleep a couple of times...
 
I am quite a bit of a loner, too. I don't really talk to many people, and sometimes choose not to. I have only one very, very close friend. Well... the people here are cool, so I feel happy enough talking to everyone on these boards. :)

@Oyo: :D The Florida sunlight and heat don't suit me. I mentioned I was weird: How do you know that I am not an insane killer? I could also be very ugly-looking. See I am very weird. :D Back to the point: That was a nice comment. Thanks. :)
 
Ohh I believe I am the oldest so far :lol: I am 25 years old female. I am doing a cooking course at school. I am Canadian and I live in the province where they speak french ;)

I don't like to be around alot of people I like nature,paganism,witchcraft,mythology, I LOVE animals and hate the ones who hurt them. I listen to black metal,classical,celtic and medieval music.
