Reading most of the posts, I'm able to narrow it down to several words that capture the very essence of what is Prog music: Dynamic, robust, experimentation. Prog has always taken its pride in being in a constant state of flux...never staying stagant for even a second. Be it folksy prog, prog metal or prog death, prog music always centers on the need to explore musical boundaries to create music that is sublime and enjoyable at the same time.
