just got a nice Marshall amp, god it feels good to play a real fucking amp and not the shit that came with my guitar . Im more inclined to play nowadays, hope i can get good (i suck realllly bad).

Ive got a piece of shit Samick strat-wanna-be. It wouldnt be so bad if the intenation wasnt all fuct, and i have no cash to get a tune up. for actually playing shows i use my friends ibanez something or other (looks like an impregnated SG).

ive got a 120W Crate gfx-212. The clean tones on the amp can have a really rich tone to them. The distortion isnt actually all that bad either. By playing with the "shape" knob you can go from a think metal "crunch" to a more trebly (is that even a real word) punkish gain.

And last and definatly least, somewhere in my house there is also a DOD 4x effects pedal, but for some reason the effects loop on my amp wont work properly, so i just dont use it. plain and simple.

@EnkeliPöly: Well, it's my first amp so I don't have anything to compare but it sounds very good to me. Good distortion and very loud(almost too loud if you live in an apartment, fortunately I live in a house). Right now I got it on 0.8/10. I think 2/10 would kill my ears.

Main axe is an ESP Horizon Custom, but I at times whip out the Carvin DC727, Gibson LP Custom [EMG 81/85], or Modulus Genesis just for fun shit. Will eventually get a custom Kelly.

Backline is my engineer's, but I use it, Marshall JCM 900, but use mostly the Mesa Dual Rec.
