Favourite death metal vocal performence-
ummm?
Nergel(Behemoth) on "the reign of shemshu-hor" & "Slave shall serve"
Demilich vocalist
Lykthea vocalist(specially on "to give")
Chuck on "Bite the Pain" & "Story to tell"

Thats all I can remember now.

Ross Dolan on Immolation's Close to a World Below (hands down, best understandable growler in the genre)
Ares on Aeternus's ...And So the Night Became
Mark Mastro and Chris Weber on Rottrevore's Iniquitous

+ all that Malign Paradigm has said.

I assume we're not talking only about straight death metal.

Corpsegrinder and Ross Dolan for sheer power.
Mikael Stanne and Atheist for dynamicism.
Destroyer 666 and Dismember, Sepultura and Soilwork for energy
Demilich, Wicked Innocence, Gorguts, Psycroptic (Chalky) for innovation

You liked WI's vocalist :loco:? That's what put me off of Omnipotence for so long.
Anyway, obviously, I'll have to go with Cadaver and Ole's rather unique vocal performance on In Pains for meshing so well with the music. His drumming was also great there.

Jeff Walker from Carcass esp.on Heartwork
Peter Tagtgren on Bloodbath's Nightmares Made Flesh and also on Hypocrisy's self-titled
Mikael on Still Life which is his best DM vocal performance (esp. on Serenity Painted Death)
