Y'know it's a shame Testament split up after this album,you could really hear they were starting to go somewhere.The Ritual get's my vote,i love the laidback vibe.My only criticism of the album is that all the song's are at a similar tempo and just when you think it's gonna explode into a breakneck riff it goes at a much more sedate pace.For me though i think it's one of Testament's best albums.Electric Crown and Return To Serenity are fantastic songs.

First I must state that I love The Ritual despite the phenomenon that the majority of Testament fans dislike it.I think it's heavy as shit and is catchy at the same time.I love all the songs,but the killer modern groove of So Many Lies has instantly blown me away when I first heard it.And the lyrics of this tune (and the others on this album) are simply the best Chuck did up to that time.

I voted for So Many Lies,but Electric Crown,The Ritual,Let Go Of My World,Troubled Dreams and Return To Serenity are also among my favourite Testatunes.

I don't really listen to the whole album very often, but I listen to Electric Crown and Let go of my World a lot. They're close but I'll have to go with Let go of my World.

I love 'Troubled Dreams' as well!

Incidentally, it's interesting to me that time really does change people's perspectives. I remember when TR came out it pretty much was slammed hardcore by everyone around, including the band themselves. Now it seems that it's one of the most popular albums according to the younger fans.

Funny how things change like that.

The ritual is so far my fav testament album, I love it. Return to Serenity is definitely my favorite song on here, as well as probably my favorite song overall. The solo is like orgasmic. As the Seasons Grey follows at 2nd. That riff is excellent.

I'd have to go with So Many Lies, Let Go Of My World, or The Ritual......Electric Crown always bugged me for some reason. Although the live version on Live in London sounds way better.

No I meant do they listen to ANY songs AFTER the title track (except Return to Serenity) as I rarely see any other song mentioned fro the hardcore fans besides Electric Crown, So many Lies, Let Go Of My World and the title track?
