I thought that description of hell was pretty fuckin cool at first, especially since I was listening to Opeth at the time. Then they started getting into the "In only I believed in God" nonsense.
Oh well. It's nice to see the fanatics are still using the same old conversion/brainwashing/scare tactics to rake in new sheep. I think if you have to convinse people to believe in God by scaring and threatening them with the concept of hel, then their must be something terribly wrong with God.
I am definitely going to church tomorrow so I can repent my sins and be accepted as one of God's children. Nah, that's okay. Church doesn't sound that appealing to me anymore.
How could there not be any music in Hell? I mean, I cannot help but picture some Slayer tunes playing on the wonderful stereo system that lines the gates of Hell.
"I honestly don't think that those of us in America can appreciate or understand that as much as some missionaries who have gone out to some of the most primitive parts of the world, where some have told me that the spiritual darkness is so heavy you feel you could cut it with a knife. The presence of the Demonic and the Devil and the powers of darkness are felt keenly. We can't really understand what it would be like to be in a place where the hard Satanic atmosphere has not been broken, shattered, or in some ways penetrated through the persistent preaching of the Gospel."
HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!
Sign your name here and we will send you a bunch of bullshit to only brain wash you even more! Have a nice day!
Stupid indulgences that people go around giving and selling away. It really is sad that in this world people think that checking a box gets them a free ticket into heaven. I can respect christianity as a religion in some ways, but for the most part the people that actually are christian are stupid, arrogant, and ignorant. Proven by this wonderful document that Satori has supplied us with.
I agree. I respect Christianity as a religion, but the people fall short of that respect. Christianity is actually a sound concept, but it's followers take it too far. If Jesus were around today and he saw how Christians are behaving now, he'd wonder: "Where the fuck did everything go wrong?"
The sad thing is, is that we actually have it good, and chrstianity has changed for the "good" as time goes on. During the Dark Ages and Medieval ages, christianity turned everything into a giant shit-hole, and the stupidity of the people, the church, and the government didn't do anything. Because they felt that the only way to get God's appreciation was to move along as brainless retards killing everyone else. Ironic isn't it. We must kill others to be part of this religion that teaches us not to hate.
We still have the same contradictions today wtihin the religion, but at least it isn't as bad.
i find it funny how the whole concept of hell in christianity was never conceived by a prophet or vision. "hell" was a place where romans would burn the corpses of the lower class and its was basically a big hole in the ground that would be piled with dead bodies and would be set on fire after a short ceremony.
I've actually met some very cool and intelligent people who happen to be christians. So cool and intelligent that I start to wonder why they buy into that religion.
i dont want to come off as a hypocrite, cause i totally defened religions/religious people on that one thread-
-regardless the stuff is still not for me
i dont like christianity all that much as a religion, even in print!
like so many aspects of women in that religion bother me.. and the weak sheep 'im a sinner' masochistic shit gets to me...and the worst thing of all is the intolerance the bible teaches towards other religions. blah blah blah.
now lets see im gonna add a cartoon from a chruch booklet thingy that is goddamn funny IMO, aside from being sickening in its ignorance- illustrating that fine christian doctrine of bashing of other religions~
