...what are you doing with them?
I have a pile at home that is collecting dust... some are priceless that I do not want to throw away (only for the original live shows/movies covers) and some that hold my precious taped old show (Headbangers Ball, old shows etc)

But I am sick of the space those are taking up in my attic... ... What are you guys doing/ did with yours?

I actually sold a few of them. I had a couple that were totally mint, so I sold them on Ebay for a fair bit each (about 20 dollars), which was pretty good. The rest I've just given to a charity shop. They told me they're basically worthless, but that they'll give it to a kids home, or a halfway house or something like that.

Only got a few left and I think they;re just porn. Dunno, I don't have a VCR any more. There is a nice connector you can buy for about $30, VHS to USB, that will record your VHS tapes onto your PC.

The thing about VHS tapes is you may have old movies not released on DVD, or which have been modified. There are lists out there of movies that never got a DVD release or, like Star Wars, the director went and fucked with it. So holding onto old VHS might be worth it.

box in my closet. like dude said above, i have some old gems that never made dvd like Gleaming the Cube, North Shore, etc. i have a vcr but its not hooked up at the moment.

i have a bootleg dvd of Rad that was obviously ripped from the vhs haha

Mine are just stored away in box in a closet, next to a bunch of DVDs. Most of them are just anime movies from the 90's, with a few movies that I haven't picked up on Blu-Ray yet. The only tapes I actually care about are the Star Wars collection (no prequels, and no NOOOOOOO!), Cliff 'Em All and a bootleg MercfyFul Fate show.

What I have left are still with my dvds in my entertainment center. I have a dvd/vcr combo so I have the ability to watch them, i just dont. Honestly I rarely watch dvds anymore, I just stream on netflix. If its something that isnt available for streaming online then I might pop one in, but like I said, it happens rarely.

I have some favorable ones like Evil Dead, old concerts, etc. I still have the Judas Priest trial my father taped from the tv.
