If you could choose only one moment! (pls give exact time so we can feel with you)

It must be from 17:25 'till the end of Black Rose Immortal (Morningrise).

This also contains the most powerful and emotional scream EVER in the history of Opeth (and metal!) imo. Especially with the deep hit on 19:14.

This moment just gives the goose bumps really. I have my own view/story on that track inspired by the majestic track BRI. I can say, this is my all time favourite...

Michael mentionned once he thinks the production of that album is not al that, but I for one think it's perfect. But it seems that being very (too) critical to yourself is normal characteristic of truly devoted musical composers. At least, that's what I heard.

Ahhh, sorry, I can't choose just one. These four are magical:

From 'I will endure....hide away' to the end on April Ethereal. That entire section just makes me tingle.

'The celestial touch....from grey to black' to the end on The Amen Corner. Brilliant.

Black Rose Immortal from 9 minutes onwards - the most epic and beautiful piece of music ever written.

The riff on 2.14 of The Leper Affinity 'Fever mirrored ghosts....' etc.

Ah damn!
Ehem...

Well for starters the scream in BRI...

NATSW - "Am i like them? Those who mourn, and turn away.." The way he sings it... it's just... aaaaaahhhh....

And then... Leper afinity... -"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH
HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH...
UGH!" :) If you knwo what i mean, before they go into the intro riff once again.. :)

Well, i must stop myself now... :)

Don't know the exact times but I think most people will know what parts I'm talking about:

The 'The Rain Was Waving Goodbye...'-part in April Ethereal.

And the 'I Have Kept It, The Amaranth Symbol'-part in Black Rose Immortal.

The Leper Affinity (4:04 - 5:38) with the absolute highlight at 4:47-5:00
Bleak (6:39-7:19)
To Bid You Farewell (2:47 - 4:50) The whole quiet part with the solo

*speechless*

just a few

1. during leper when he screams "IIIIIIII AM BEYOND DEATH" and then it goes on to the part when the music goes "dun dun dun dun dun UGH!" fuckin brutal!!!!

2. black rose immortal - 14:40, imo the most beautiful moment in musical history when mikael simply whispers "black rose...immortal." ahhh the chills!

pretty much every part of still life, most of deliverance, three quarters of blackwater park, and half of mayh, morningrise and orchid. damnation is a different vibe...

Forest of October - 11:10-12:10 or somewhere around that mark.
Night and Silent Water - that clean part a little way into the song. You know which part i mean. The one where the low note on the guitar changes.

10:00-End of "To Bid You Farewell". Absoultely beautiful.
7:45-End of "When". "And I cried......" That part is amazing.
Actually, 6:10-End is just as good, but the other part is better. :)

the incredibly strange off-beat part of April Ethereal (5:39 - 6:39)
the end of advent
definitely the end of The Night and the Silent Water, not necessarily for the lyrics (boy, do they get trashed around here), but because of the riff - brutal beauty in simplicity
most of The Twilight is My Robe
and all of TBYF

I don't know a specific song or section that affects me that way, but I think that it might be the section of The Drapery Falls when Mikael screams (non-growl) something like 3 or 4 times.
Or, Maybe...: This really isn't an Opeth song, but it involves the guitar work and vocals of Mikael Akerfeldt. Edge of Sanity - Crimson around the time that Mikael begins to scream "Nevermore." I don't know the exact time but it jsut sends tingles up my spine.

I'll sleep on it and see if I can find a specific few minutes or seconds from the works of Opeth that amaze me the most... :)

Oh, I forgot one. I'm not sure of the exact times, but about the last minute of Karma. I never noticed until a few nights ago, how truly amazing the screaming is in that section. It is probably one of the most emotional parts of that album, and a great climax(With Epilouge being the conclusion).
