Your Top 5 hardcore/metalcore Bands

Shell Shock said:
1. God Forbid - these guys are awesome.. They're metalcore, and yet musically they're as METAL as it can get. Very technical, very HEAVY, and very melodical. And very musically diverse, too. Just awesome..

2. Suicidal Tendencies
3. Killswitch Engage
4. Hatebreed
5. 3rd Rail

God Forbid rip. Brutal!

1. Circle Takes The Square (their new album kicks so much ass...)
2. Refused (Shape... is probably the best hardcore cd ever)
3. Converge
4. Forever Is Forgotten
5. Curl Up And Die (mostly for You'd Be Cuter If I Shot You In The Face)

Some honorable mentions include This Runs Through, Haste The Day, Caliban, Thirty Called Arson, Anah Aevia, Found Dead Hanging, Will Haven, The Number Twelve Looks Like You, DEP, Evergreen Terrace... all awesome bands.

Hardcore-punk is the best...

RATOS DE PORAO (older stuff)
ARMAGEDOM
FINAL CONFLICT (specially Ashes to ashes lp)
KAAOS (early stuff)
VARAUS (all)
RIISTETYT (Older stuff)
ANTICIMEX (and WOLFPACK w/Jonsson)
ANTISECT (All)
LOBOTOMIA (all)
INFERNO (Todd and wahnzinn)
ATAQUE FRONTAL (All)
The list could be endless but these stuff popped in mind first..

I'm starting to listen to Biohazard again, after many, many years of ignoring them. THey can still kick ass when they aren't employing the help of various special guests from rap artists to nu-metal musicians.

Anyone heard The End? I've been really into their album 'Transfer Trachea Reverberations From Point: False Omniscient. Listening to this, they seem to be giving Dillinger and Converge a serious run for their money. Very un-easy litening.

Also listening to:

BOTCH, CAVE IN, CURLUPANDDIE, AGAINST (Australian), NEW SETTLEMENT ROUGE (Australian), TOE TO TOE (Australian)
