I'm not a fan of Wolverine from what I've heard of them, but I think these guys are a lot more interesting musically and offer a lot more energy than Wolverine can if that helps anyone who is on the fence and just in case the 'Wolverine' comparison reduces giving In The Silence a fair chance.

I would say that Xandria is the perfect band for those that are Wishmaster era Nightwish/Tarja fans. I would assume him rejoining Iced Earth was done under the impression touring would not be so fluent. Once rejoining IE the demand was picking up and that's just not something that was feasible for Barlow long term. I'm sure this project will be more time beneficial for Barlow without impeding...
