Once I caught myself thinking that I didn't enjoy TiO so much, but I couldn't find one single track on that album that I disliked.
Paradise Lost is an album that I only skip "Sepent's Kiss" and "Paradise Lost". BTW, I see how different I am from other SymX fans when I realize that almost...
My list of favorite Sym X albums would be:
1 - V
2 - Divine Wings of Tragedy
3 - Twilight in Olympus
4 - Paradise Lost
5 - The Odyssey
6 - Damnation Game
7 - Symphony X
By the way, I was listening to Twilight in Olympus today and realized there isn't even one song that I dislike on...
I really don't know why you guys keep complaining about any news or a release date. Paradise Lost was released on Jun 26th 2007 (I think), 5 years after The Odyssey. With that said, Symphony X's deadline is 1 and a half years away! :/
There's a brazilian band called Akashic, that unfortunately no longer exists, that is very similar to Symphony X. They released 2 albums, but I think their first one "Timeless Realm" is the best. It's worth to check them out.
Really, I'm not expecting this album this year, and don't think it's gonna be different from paradise lost, as the band said the direction they would give the album would be like PL.
Interesting point. I remember that I used to be very annoyed when listening to Time Requiem's first cd the fact that the word "everlasting" was present on the first four songs of that album. I thought I was the only one who minded those things.
This new album reminded me of Episode a little, maybe because of the mid tempo songs, so I think you should check it out. To me Episode is as good as Visions, but people don't seem to agree with me that much.
