Decided on a whim to buy a LTD EC-1000T as a late birthday present to myself. I think this guitar is far nicer than my Gibson SG was, or any Gibson I've played for that matter. One of which was a Firebrand Les Paul, I'm really enjoying this guitar.

I think for me, it's between 3 and 4.

I found the "metal" clip to be very disappointing. They never seem to get the right idea for what to play. Quick riffing would be nice. Otherwise, the blues rock clip was a good tone I thought, and the clean was good.

Killer tone, definitely love the sound of a Plexi being railed.

Nice tone, those little Blackstars are all badass. I got an HT1 last week, even with just the one tone control (ISF), it's sweet. I definitely recommend using a boost in front like Ola said.

For overheads I'd recommend checking out KEL HM1s or HM2Ds. Not expensive, not cheap, but they work on more than just overhead applications as well.
