My friend got into Ghost Reveries and turned me to Opeth, but the first album I got myself was Damnation. I bought BWP a couple of weeks after and got every other Opeth album for christmas that year. Was fucking awesome.

I still don't think I've listened to it enough, but at the moment, for me: 1. Still Life 2. Morningrise 3. My Arms, Your Hearse 4. Deliverance 5. Ghost Reveries 6. Orchid 7. Watershed 8. Damnation 9. Blackwater Park

Deliverance is probably the most under-rated Opeth album. Master's Apprentices remains, to this day, one of their greatest (and heaviest) songs

Why does everyone call it this, when it's clearly just "In Mist She Was Standing"?

I think no matter how much of an 'old-school' Opeth fan you are, you couldn't deny that Ghost of Perdition is perfectly crafted- to me, it is just the most well-structured progressive metal song ever written, it's fucking monstrous. I personally love GR- it has an old-school, vintage...

Here's an idea... How about the people who deciphered it stop being a bunch of elitist pricks, and share it with the rest of us? Do you really think that no one will ever figure it out and then reveal it? It's the Opeth forum, not the fucking magic circle; everyone will know in a few days anyway.

I think they should have put the bonus tracks on the feature CD- having it on a DVD, not being able to play it on a CD player and having to download a ripping program to get it on my iPod is a bit shit.
