2007 - albums to look forward to

No, but I am pretty sure it will be Peter again IF and only IF they stick to studio albums and do not decide to tour. This is speculation, but it has high chances if that's the situation.

well, Garm is up to polluting Solefald records with his awful vocals, but i'm sure he'll find the couple of hours required to write and record a new Ulver release! Be positive and the rest will flow! :headbang:

Oh, and is Ved Buens Ende really putting out a newie? I wanna know more!

Confirmed; Iced Earth, Symphony X, Judas Priest, Therion, Shadows Fall, Beyond The Embrace, Biomechanical, Wintersun, Machine Head, Metallica, Megadeth, Chimaira, Dream Theater

& hopefully; Opeth, Anthrax, In Flames, Nevermore, Arch Enemy, Children Of Bodom, Hypocrisy, Darkane, Meshuggah, Kreator, Testament & anything from Devin Townsend.

Could be an expensive year!

Let's see, from this list I'll also take Kreator, Dream Theater, Anthrax, Testament, Meshuggah, and Wintersun

Pain of Salvations "Scarsick" due to be released 2007 (if not late 2006...)

Opeth!
Porcupine Tree (of course)
Meshuggah

Opeth - DVD and New Album
Darkane - DVD and maybe a new album
Nightingale - White Darkness
Bloodbath - DVD and New album
Arch Enemy - New cd
Dark Tranquillity - fiction
MEgadeth - United Abominations
Porcupine Tree - Fear Of A Blank Planet

no one mentioned these, I think:

Illogicist (signed to Willowtip, 2nd album due out soon)
Throes of Dawn (I think they're doing something tho their last one was meh)
Anaal Nathrakh
Clutch (already out, and it's great, although more southern rock than metal)
Eternal Gray (great Israeli death metal band)
Marilyn Manson
NIN (came out today, woot)
Slumber

and I'm also looking fwd to:

Opeth
Nile
Dimmu Borgir (although first single was just okay)
Porcupine Tree
Dream Theater
Symphony X
Radiohead
The Amenta

not to mention this non-music stuff:

Spore
Ratatouille
Mass Effect
Super Mario Galaxy
Metroid Prime 3
Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition
Spiderman 3
28 Weeks Later
Harry Potter 5 (movie)
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows
plus more DMZ, Walking Dead and the return of Garth Ennis' The Boys!!!

Now that PTs hit, it's all about DT, Meshuggah, and Opeth. DT most of all.

Edit: Also Nile, if that happens.
