2012 Metal Thread

Yeah, 2012 has been the best year for music in quite some time. All my favorites are releasing solid to fantastic albums. A few surprises along the way as well.

:Smokin:

yeah, heard the first 3 tracks off of Cosmosophy ... they seem a bit light in the foot, but I guess that's the point.

not sure if I can ever sit through the trilogy in one sitting, which I am sure what the final intent of Vindsval was.

Cosmosophy is incredible and the best of the trilogy. Unfortunate you didn't continue on because the fourth track is the best one they've done in years.

Random discovery that sounds like it will seriously awesome (Binah, from the album "Hallucinating in Resurrecture"

oh, I'll listen to the rest of the disc and I certainly did not hate what I heard so far, just seemed a bit "light" like I said.

Blown away by that DorDeDuh video. Not listening to another note, instant pre-order.

that song is not by any means representative of the rest of the record. i think you will love this disc Jerry especially since I know you blew your stuffed cabbage over Om.

This rules. :kickass:

I somehow missed that whole reco rotation thing, but I'm gonna do some anyways.

DOODOODOODADOODODADOODOO DOONANANADOONANANANA <- Breaking the Law riff.

Re: Witch Mountain: Dem vocals bruh. Considering that I've been listening to a lot of SubRosa to grasp my inner effeminate sanctuary, this is currently in my wheelhouse.

Off Topic- Anybody ever notice that most early 20 somethings nowadays talk in a very effeminate tone? I'm referring to alleged straight males. I just noticed this yesterday. Nobody goes balls deep anymore in terms of vocal ooomp. Too many lads growing up in tolerant households.
