it's really awkward

it's better than whatever garbage they've tried to pass off as music the last two decades or so but it's still not good

real riff salad going on, the individual parts aren't so bad but nothing gels, it's just one thing piled on top of another

I have to say, I'm loving the new Soilwork release. I haven't enjoyed anything they've done since Natural Born Chaos, which I know didn't get much love here. This disc is very much in that vein, and very much of that quality. Even more impressive given it's a double album.

this is hilarious because when i started listening to dt in 1999-2000 they were rightly known as the band incapable of NOT changing

but i agree, the last three albums or so have been WAY too similar and i didn't even buy the last two (although i actually really enjoy fiction and will purchase it at some point)
