I'm laughing at Ed Snider ripping on Yzerman and Team Canada brass that Giroux was snubbed from the Olympic team. STFU. Yeah the guy is a great player, but considering how shit the start of the season was for him, I don't think he deserved a spot, regardless of how well he's been playing of late.

I didnt realize that Sweden purposely (last year) left Bruin fwd Carl Soderberg of the Olympic team because he chose to join the Bruins last year instead of staying and playing in the Swedish league. I get the politics, but i also think its kind of piss poor. BTW the "one eyed swede" has been playing like a beast especially of late, im sure he'd be a nice addition to the team. Oh well.

Found it interesting that the Flyers owner was quoted on NHL players participating in the Olympics- "i hate it"! I know Bruins brass Cam Neely isnt thrilled and it seems that all players ive seen interviewed say the right things about representing but dont really seemed thrilled.

lol. Anyway whose Claude Giroux? Oh yeah the guy they thought was the next big star of the NHL and the flyers savior. Remember when Giroux won the Conn Smythe? Or when he led the flyers to a stanley cup championship with his incredible leadership. Or when he won the hart trophy? Or did anything even remotely worth mentioning? It's ok neither can I and just think of how well the flyers have been doing so well the last two seasons. Oh wait.....
