NHL 2013 SEASON IS GO!

As said, I don't like seeing it no matter what team does it...Bs included.

As much as I think Julien may be correct, I've mentioned in recent past that he should STFU and worry about other things that'll help his team win, as you eluded to.

Bs better win the next one!

I think the Hawks will win this next game though... the 2 days will benefit them more IMO... mainly because of the distance they've travelled these playoffs.

Thank you jeezus mutha f'in christ! The way the Bs dominated OT once again...if they didn't win this one I would've put sharps away. The best part of this one was how the banged the shit out of the Hawks tonite. That's going to take its toll on the Hawks.

Props again to Rask proving to be one of the best...he was amazing especially in the first period. Bs were lucky they weren't down 2-3 Gs in the first.

Yet the Hawks dominated the first 30 mins of the game... I'll only give credit to Rask for keeping them in it. But the Hawks outplayed the fuck out of the B's in the first and half of the second. I don't know where they were the rest of the way.

Bs don't have nearly the amount of overall team speed Chi has. They are very resiliant and good at not getting too rattled under heavy pressure as we saw early on. I'm thinking Chi was a little gassed after that initial onslaught and the Bs took over the game bout halfway thru and dominated the OT.

Yes, and I think Quenville actually beat Julien in an on ice race lol.

Seriously, the Bs faced this same team speed against the Pens but their approach still was to be more aggressive offensively and use their own team speed against the Pens... more so against the Pens weaker D-men. They seem to be stuck in the middle now with their approach against the Hawks because of the speed of the Hawks D-men as you mentioned. They simply cant take as many chances against the Hawks puck-movers and cant gain the offensive zone as easy.

The Bs can win this if they do two things...be more aggressive and less conservative offensively and please for the shit of god step up and challenge the Hawks entering the offensive zone. Way too many easy offensive entries for the Hawks. Boychuck finally stepped up last game and really leveled the Hawks players entering...need more of this.

Didn't see last night's game, but I saw game 2. The Bruins seem to want the cup more than the Blackhawks. The Blackhawks are lucky they aren't down by three games right now. Then again, they had a goal disallowed in period 1 of game 2 which I thought was a bullshit call. Toews needs to step up his game, if he isn't going to score then win some faceoffs at least. Boston is playing better hockey and I hope Chicago can get it together or this is going to be over in 5 games.

Bs dominated every category from hits to face offs etc. Chi did have some point-blank chances but basically missed the net on those chances. Its almost like Rask is in their heads they seem to be gripping the sticks to tight or theyre are waiting to get knocked on their asses. Bs have really stepped up the physical play big time the last two games. Seidenberg has been a beast on D- and Bergeron really showed lastnite how / why he is one of the most consistent complete players in the league.

And we've got Pavel for another three years :kickass:

AND the Griffins won the Calders Cup! Aw yeah, it ain't NHL playoff experience but winning can only do the kids good.

REDONKULOUS game tnite! Bs down 2 goals on two occasions only to fight back and tie it. Hawks win 6-5 in OT.

Bs have so much heart and fight but I wonder if they lost their chance to win the Cup tnite? Hawks have life and their big boys just woke up.

That was a great game to watch. I thought that Boston was going to win that game, they were outplaying Chicago substantially in OT.

Yes, Bs were playing great once again in OT...all for not tonite. My only hope is the Bs continuing to solve Crawford. Rask looked less than his usual stellar self tonite but Crawford looked really horrible. For all the good Crawford has done this year...I've never seen a weaker glove in my life. All the Bs goals (as highlited) have been glove-side.

Damn 11 goals, so much for both teams being defensive minded and so much for a goaltending duel. Reminds me of a Pens/Flyers game lol.

Man Bruins got a few great bounces to tie this game, I would have been pissed if the Hawks didn't win. Crawford was such a turd, I feel like I could have saved that first goal

But with Kane/Toews/Hossa scoring that is bad news for the Bruins, that is probably the first superstars to score since the Leafs? Or did the Rangers sort of 'show-up'? I can't remember

Good game though, I think it'll be home team the rest of the way, if Rask lets in more than 3 I don't think the Bruins can win

Nah, Rangers / Nash etc were shutdown too.

Frustrating! Man the way the Bs have played in the first four and espec in the OTs...they could easily be up 3-1. Oh well, Chi isn't Pitt, they atleast have some backbone.

Bs need to tighten it back up defensively play their typ game and they should be ok. Yet I feel they should just open it up offensively cause Crawford looks so shaky at times. I don't know...Rask has been the better in net and should bounce back nicely and the Bs overall team D- is as we know great. Stick to what got you here, try and win low scoring games. 6-5 games though are sure fun to watch sometimes lol.

This series is going to 7 games, but either way... Patrick Kane has decided to turn it on at the right time. It's incredible...
