going back and reading this thread was fun ...

need to do something soon with my MINI. The warranty is up soon, new model coming in a few months that might make my resale value worse (or better).

BMW currently has a lease on the '07 328I sedan for $369 a month ... $383 with the sports pack and xenons ... not bad at all since I am paying that right now for my Cooper, granted its financed and not leased.

its good till Jan 2, 07 ... will have to think about this.

I have some questions about leasing if anyone wants to chime in ... convince me why its better than buying

I figure, hell, if I'm going to be driving a full-size truck why not just drive a diesel? At least I can pull houses down the street if it comes to that.

Leasing: I don't see why it wouldn't work for you Lurch. Sound like a plan. But I dunno about all those trips you like to take with your Mini buddies. Seems like they would put you over the mileage limit.
