In this case, wouldn't you say they were good ideas, since they kept the involved members main prjects from suffering the same sound? IT gives them a chance to release their musical ideas, and while it may not be liked by you (though I do like peccatum, and know a few others as well, though not many :lol), so it pleases at least a few, and keeps their real projects from being invaded by these obscurer ideas that might otherwise invade the music you like by them.

Assuming you like emperor or any of the Wurdulak members main projects of course...

I didn't think of it like that, I just posted that because I hate those two bands.

I've actually been converted now.. I was playing the new album last night and it just clicked.. You have to listen to it all in one go, that way by the time you get to the end you've forgotten what they used to sound like.

It's a lot more "lush" sounding than their previous albums, not nearly as "rockin'", but it's still a huge melting pot of heartfelt wonderment.. Still very "Sense Field", despite the radical change in sound.

Sense Field. Fucking fantastic band.
