Anything else I'm missing? (other examples I'm familiar with are the Harold Faltermeyer stuff from Top Gun and Beverly Hills cop, and Alan Silvestri's more orchestral but still amazing stuff for Back to the Future, Predator, etc.)

Death Wish 3 (1985) is my favourite vigilante movie ever, and its soundtrack written by Jimmy Page is awesome.


The Warriors (1979) also has one of the most memorables soundtrack IMO.

This is pretty much what I've been jamming for weeks David Michael Frank and some Gary Chang. Doesn't get any better or cheesier. Stuff was my childhood.
